The County of San Mateo (County) is seeking proposals for leasing restaurant space at the Half Moon Bay Airport at 9850 Cabrillo Highway North, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 (restaurant facility) to manage and operate the facility owned by the County. 

The Half Moon Bay Airport (Airport), located on the scenic Northern California coast 20 miles south of San Francisco, is an enterprise operation owned by the County of San Mateo and operated by the Department of Public Works. The Airport was constructed for the U.S. Army in 1942.  The Army turned the Airport over to the Navy following the end of WWII and the County acquired the Airport from the Navy in 1947.  The Airport has served a variety of roles over the years and is currently an important business, transportation and emergency service asset to the community. Home to approximately 50 aircraft, the Airport is self-funded through user and business fees, and aviation grants.

The restaurant facility is located inside the Airport Terminal Building and is approximately 980 square feet of restaurant area, 188 square feet of lobby area, 274 square feet of restroom area, 100 square feet of office are, and approximately 1,800 square feet of outdoor patio seating area.
