Description of Work:  The work to be done consists, in general, of providing all labor, materials, tools, appurtenances, and equipment required to install new 200,000 nominal 170,000-gallon capacity emergency water tank. Connect to hospital domestic water loop via triplex pumps on emergency power, remove existing tank after new tank complete. All construction items and details will be on the Contract Documents and as directed by the Director of Public Works.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: Bidders are hereby informed that there will be a prebid conference and site visit on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The conference will convene at 225 37th Avenue Conference Room 100 San Mateo California. Bids are required for the entire work described herein, including base bid, alternate bids and unit prices, if applicable. Due to the nature of this project it is mandatory that bidding contractors attend the pre-bid conference to become familiar with existing conditions. Bids will not be accepted from any contractor not present at the mandatory prebid conference as evidenced on the attendance roster.
